A clear indigo ground with white medallions, running into a pale-blue jaal band at the fall. Printed on mul cotton — the light, open-weave cotton that makes a dupatta drape instead of sit.

Wear it with: white, cream or grey. Indigo against white is the oldest combination in Indian dress for a reason.

Care: First wash separately in cold water — indigo releases colour at first and will mark pale cloth. Mild detergent, no brushing, no wringing. Line-dry in shade. Iron on medium; keep the iron off the tassels.
