A near-black navy ajrakh-print cotton suit piece worked in a damask floral, picked out in red and a clear pale blue that lifts the whole cloth. It comes with a soft cream cotton dupatta worked in rows of hand-kantha running stitch, scattered with small hand-worked diamonds, finished with a printed ajrakh border and handmade tassels.

Care: First wash separately in cold water — the navy releases a little colour at first, and you don't want it on the cream dupatta. Mild detergent, no brushing, no wringing, no long soaking. Line-dry in shade. Iron on medium; press the dupatta from the reverse so the kantha stitching keeps its texture, and keep the iron off the tassels.
