This set comes with a piece most don't: a separate mirror-work yoke panel, ready to be set into the neckline of your kurti — patchwork ajrakh with mirrors, a yellow floral band and bright hand embroidery, so the finished garment gets a designer front without you paying for designer stitching. The dupatta is sheer red chiffon covered in white bandhani dots, and the bottom is a blue-and-white stripe.

Care: Wash the cotton pieces and the chiffon dupatta separately — hand wash cold, mild detergent, no wringing. Red releases colour on the first wash. Chiffon dries fast; keep it out of direct sun. Iron the chiffon on low with a cloth between, and go around the mirrors on the yoke rather than over them.
