The dupatta is the piece here: soft ivory cotton with elephants appliquéd on by hand in maroon-red ajrakh, each one cut from printed cloth and stitched down individually, walking in a row down the length. The edge is finished with a scalloped ajrakh border. It's paired with a maroon ajrakh-print top in a medallion pattern and a plain coordinating bottom.

Care: Gentle hand wash in cold water, separately for the first wash. Mild detergent, no brushing, no wringing, no long soaking — the appliqué is stitched on and hard handling will loosen it. Line-dry in shade. Iron on medium from the reverse, going around the elephants rather than over them.
