The bold one of the three. A clear crimson red cotton dupatta with elephants appliquéd on by hand in ajrakh print, each cut from printed cloth and stitched down individually, finished with an ajrakh border along the edge. It's paired with a navy ajrakh-print top in a large medallion pattern and a plain red coordinating bottom — the only one in this line that isn't built on ivory.

• Speciality: the appliqué work — every elephant is cut and stitched by hand, so their placement and edges vary slightly from piece to piece

Care: Gentle hand wash in cold water, separately for the first wash — crimson releases colour. Mild detergent, no brushing, no wringing, no long soaking — the appliqué is stitched on and hard handling will loosen it. Line-dry in shade to keep the red from fading. Iron on medium from the reverse, going around the elephants rather than over them.
