A deep bottle green ajrakh-print cotton suit piece with gold flowering-plant butis standing in neat rows — dark and formal up close, but the print keeps it light. It's paired with a lime green cotton dupatta worked in rows of hand-kantha running stitch, finished with a printed ajrakh border and handmade tassels. Two greens, one dark and one bright, is what makes it.

Care: First wash separately in cold water — deep-dyed cotton releases a little colour at first. Mild detergent, no brushing, no wringing, no long soaking. Line-dry in shade. Iron on medium; press the dupatta from the reverse so the kantha stitching keeps its texture, and keep the iron off the tassels.
