A dreamy dusty lavender Mangalagiri Pattu saree in a soft half & half shibori — one half held back as gentle white/off-white that melts into dusty lavender for a hand-dyed, two-tone gradient across the drape. Woven in Mangalagiri, a GI handloom town in Andhra Pradesh, Pattu is the silk-cotton blend: silk's quiet sheen and drape with cotton's breathable comfort.

• Fabric: Mangalagiri Pattu (silk-cotton handloom) — soft, lightweight, with an elegant drape
• Dyeing: Half & half shibori (hand-dyed resist technique) — white blending into dusty lavender. As this is hand-dyed, no two pieces are identical and the fade line varies slightly — a hallmark of genuine shibori, not a defect.
• Border: Mangalagiri 50K silver-toned zari border in the classic temple style — a rich, tightly woven zari edge (silver-coloured tested zari, not solid silver)
• Blouse: Matching unstitched blouse piece with heavy pearl hand-work — a large central lotus 🪷 motif hand-embroidered in pearls, framed by small scattered pearl butti dots for an all-over shimmer (tailor to fit)
• Speciality: the half-and-half shibori shading + heavy pearl-work blouse + 50K silver zari border combination

Care: Dry clean recommended, especially the first wash and to protect the pearl-work. If hand-washing, do the first wash separately in plain cold water (hand-dyed shibori can bleed initially), use a mild detergent, and never brush, wring or machine-wash. Line-dry in shade. Store folded in a cotton or muslin bag and wrap the pearl motif in soft tissue so the beads don't rub. Iron on low on the reverse, away from the zari and pearls.
